Watergrasshill Minor Hurling Vs Bride Rovers

Final Score Watergrasshill 2-5to Bride Rovers 4-12

On a wet  Sunday evening we travelled to Rathcormac to play our second game of the week, minus a few players. We were up against a strong opposition , a team that moved the ball fast and took their scores when they got their chance. However, Colm Fenton scored two long range frees to get the score board ticking . Bride Rovers had easy scores with two quick goals made the Hill chase the game and leave the half time score 2.09 to 0.3 in favour of Bride Rovers. A good start in the second half was needed with a goal by sub Andrew Dorgan. However we conceded two goals to leave the home team heading for the win.Our lads fought for every ball, and were rewarded with a goal from Aaron Ricken. Despite this the final score read 4-12 to 2.5 in favour of Brides Rovers. A heavy defeat but the boys will hold their heads up and look forward to their next game against Erins Own.
