UNDER 8'S AND 11'S   27/08/2019

Our U8 hurlers travelled to Castlemartyr yesterday morning, for a blitz and with 19 players we had 3 teams competing. The standard was very high with teams from Youghal, Midlton & Kilta Og also in attendance. On a great morning for hurling the lads and lady did excellently and really enjoyed their morning and great fun too of course. Thanks to Rebel Og for organising a great mornings hurling and Castlemartyr GAA club for hosting the blitz. Thanks as always to the coaches, parents and supporters who also travel to cheer on the kids and add to the positive atmosphere.

our U11s made the trip to Brinny yesterday morning to take on Valley Rovers in a 15 a side match. Played on a lovely warm morning, where the sunshine even made a reappearance, the lads went toe to toe with a good Valley Rovers team. The lads played excellently throughout, from one to fifteen, once again displaying a very high skill level with terrific scores, lovely passing and the ability to block and hook when not in possession. They led well at halftime but got really tested in the second half and it was great to see them dig in, defend under a lot of pressure and hold out for the win, the game ending Watergrasshill 6-4, Valley Rovers 3-6. Well done boys, a great performance. Hon the Hill ❤️
