CUL CAMP 2019   18/07/2019

Anyone following this seasons GAA will be aware the story of the summer so far is the incredible run that Laois hurlers have been on. They maintained their league position in 1B, defeated Westmeath to win the Joe McDonagh Cup, claimed their biggest result in the championship since 1985 in defeating Dublin and put in a valiant effort against Tipperary in the All Ireland quarterfinal last weekend. Well some of this feel good factor came to the Hill today and the Cul Camp day 3, when Laois captain Paddy Purcell and Laois top scorer Mark Kavanagh paid a visit, along with the Joe McDonagh. The lads were brilliant with the kids, signing autographs, posing for pictures and talking to the boys and girls about the great year they have had hurling with Laois. Massive thanks to Paddy and Mark for making the trip down, greatly appreciate the effort lads, and of course no secrets who arranged the lads visit, thanks Tommy B, topman!
